How LOVEA TECH LIMITED collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use Lovender, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and, where relevant, EU GDPR. We don't sell your data and we keep your chats private.

1. Who is responsible for your data
LOVEA TECH LIMITED (company no. 17473866, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom) is the data controller for personal data processed through Lovender. Contact us about privacy, including if you are based in the EU, at [email protected].
2. What we collect

Your chats may reveal sensitive things about you, such as your sexual preferences. We treat all chat content as confidential, use it only as described here and never sell it. Please don't share information you don't need to, such as your full name, address or other people's details.
3. How we use it and our legal bases

4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run Lovender, under contracts that protect your data:
- cloud hosting and data storage providers
- AI model and image-generation providers that process prompts to create replies and images
- payment processors and fraud-prevention services
- age assurance providers
- email, customer support and analytics tools (analytics only with your consent)
You can ask us at [email protected] for the names of our current providers.
We may also share data with police, regulators or child-protection organisations where the law requires it or to protect someone from harm, and with a buyer if our business is sold. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. When that happens we use lawful safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data, chats and characters: while your account is active. They are deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except backups, which are overwritten within a further 60 days.
- Chats you delete are removed from your account straight away and from our systems within 30 days.
- Purchase and tax records: 6 years, as required by UK law.
- Age check results and moderation or enforcement records (e.g. bans for illegal content): as long as needed to stop repeat abuse and meet legal duties, normally up to 3 years.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, restricted staff access and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the ICO where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data (access and portability)
- correct or delete your data
- restrict or object to our use of it, including for model improvement
- withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect earlier processing)
Email [email protected]. We will reply within one month and may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority, but please contact us first so we can try to help.
9. Automated decisions
We use automated tools to filter content and detect abuse. If an automated decision leads to your account being suspended, you can ask for a person to review it (see Appeals).
10. Children
Lovender is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and data. Report suspected underage users to [email protected].
11. Changes
We will post any updates here with a new date and tell you about important changes by email or in the app.
