Community Guidelines
Lovender is a place for adult fantasy with fictional AI characters. These rules keep it safe and legal. Breaking them can get content removed or your account banned, and some breaches are reported to the police.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. The basics
- You must be 18+.
- Characters are fictional AI. Keep it that way.
- Adult themes and explicit content between fictional adult characters are allowed, within the limits below.
- These rules apply to chats, prompts, character names, descriptions, images and anything else you create or share.
2. Zero tolerance: instant ban
- Minors: any sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18, or characters described as or appearing to be children or teens. This covers "barely legal" framing, school-age settings, child-like bodies or behaviour, and age play. We report this to the relevant authorities, such as the NCA/CEOP and the IWF in the UK and NCMEC in the US.
- Real people: uploading photos of real people, or creating nude, sexual or intimate content of any real person, including celebrities, influencers, people you know, exes or yourself. This includes "undressing", face-swaps and deepfakes.
- Non-consensual intimate images: sharing or trying to create intimate images of anyone without consent.
- Terrorism and violent extremism.
3. Also not allowed
- Sexual violence or non-consensual sex portrayed approvingly, and extreme content that would be illegal to publish in the UK
- Bestiality, incest, necrophilia, and sexual content involving bodily harm or death
- Hate speech, harassment or threats against real people or groups
- Encouraging suicide, self-harm or eating disorders
- Instructions for weapons, drugs, hacking or other serious crimes
- Scams, spam, impersonation, selling accounts or credits
- Characters that impersonate real public figures, or copy copyrighted characters without rights
- Sharing anyone's personal information (addresses, phone numbers and so on)
- Trying to get around filters, age checks or bans, including by creating new accounts
4. Public characters
If you publish a character for other users to see, its name, image and description must be suitable for display on a public gallery: no explicit imagery in thumbnails, and no names or descriptions that break these rules.
5. What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may block the message, remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban your account, and report to law enforcement. Details are in our Content Moderation Policy.
6. Report a problem
Use the report button in the app, or email [email protected] with the subject "Report". If you believe an image shows you or someone you know, tell us and we will prioritise removing it.
